Each page answers one question that coaches, players or fans really search for, such as how a 4-2-3-1 defends or what a regista does. We aim for the clearest single answer on that question.
Sources
- The laws of the game as published by the body that writes them, for rules such as offside.
- Small-sided game standards published by youth soccer organizations, for age groups and formats.
- Coaching practice: sessions, match footage and the experience of grassroots coaches.
Writing tools and diagrams
We use writing software, including AI tools, to help with research notes and first drafts. A person who coaches rewrites and checks every page, and we check rules and numbers against the sources above. Every diagram is drawn from a written plan of player positions, not from photos.
